Muay Thai camps in Thailand for women

Plenty of camps say they welcome women. Fewer have female trainers, women-only sessions, or enough women training that you are not the only one in the room. Those are different things and we track them separately.

Where we have not confirmed a womens programme ourselves, the camp page says so rather than assuming. Ask the camp directly before booking on that basis.

Camps we think suit women

Sumalee Boxing Gym

Thalang, Phuket / Small camp

Smaller camp in the quieter north of Phuket, away from the Rawai and Chalong concentration. Being out of the tourist strip is the point: fewer distractions, smaller groups, more trainer attention. Less convenient if you want nightlife or a big social scene.

Emerald Muay Thai

Ao Nang, Krabi / Small camp

One of the few established camps in Krabi, which is the appeal: mainland scenery and climbing on the doorstep without the density of the Phuket scene. Smaller trainee pool means fewer partners at your exact level.

Diamond Muay Thai

Sri Thanu, Koh Phangan / Small camp

Koh Phangan camp with a strong long-stay and wellness crossover crowd. Relaxed pace and a small group size. Progress depends heavily on who else happens to be on the island that month, which cuts both ways.

Attachai Muay Thai Gym

Bangkok, Bangkok / Small camp

Small Bangkok gym run by a former fighter, with the personal-attention advantage that comes with a low headcount. Suits people who learn better with direct correction than in a big class.
