Bag work
What it means
Rounds on a heavy bag, usually after pads. It is where you get volume and conditioning, and where you practise the combination the trainer just corrected.
It is also the part of a session that fills the gap while other people are on pads, so a busy camp with few trainers will have you on a bag more than you expected.
Bag rounds are self-paced, which cuts both ways: it is the easiest place to coast and the easiest place to overdo it in the heat.

Pad work
Rounds worked one-to-one with a trainer holding Thai pads, where you throw combinations and he corrects them as you go. It is the centre of a Thai session and the reason people fly there.
