The morning run
What it means
The run before the morning session, usually a few kilometres and usually early enough to beat the heat. Thai fighters treat it as non-negotiable; camps rarely force visitors to do it.
It is scheduled early for a practical reason. By mid-morning the heat makes it a different and worse exercise.
Skipping it is fine and common among visitors. Doing it is the cheapest fitness gain available on a short trip, since the sessions themselves will not build your engine as fast as running will.

Pad work
Rounds worked one-to-one with a trainer holding Thai pads, where you throw combinations and he corrects them as you go. It is the centre of a Thai session and the reason people fly there.
