Camp against camp

Bangkok Fight Lab or Luktupfah Muay Thai

Two camps in Bangkok, set against each other on what each one publishes about itself. Nothing below is our opinion of either.

The short version

A single group session is 600 THB at Bangkok Fight Lab and 500 THB at Luktupfah Muay Thai. They line up on 3 of the lines both camps publish.

Bangkok Fight Lab

Every figure includes 7 percent VAT and there is no contract. The month is the Hardcore Striking membership; all access across striking and grappling is 6,500 a month or 66,000 a year. A day pass is 1,100 and three days 2,750. A first class is 600 and comes off a membership bought the same day. The gym is an authorised DTV sponsor and sells visa packages at 30,000 for six months and 53,600 for a year.

Luktupfah Muay Thai

The month line stays blank because the one month unlimited is quoted on request rather than published, and there is no week product at all: the packs are ten classes for 3,500 valid three months, fifteen for 5,000 valid four months and twenty for 6,000 valid five months. A class is 500 for an adult and 250 for a child under ten, and a private is 1,500 an hour for an adult or 750 for 45 minutes for a child. Krabi Krabong is 1,500 a lesson booked in advance, and Muay Boran is sold as a course or a private rather than by the class. The nightly room line stays blank because the residential rate is quoted as a room and training together, 1,200 a day or 28,000 a month with every class included.

Against the country

Each line runs from the cheapest figure listed camps print for that rate to the dearest, with Bangkok Fight Lab marked above the line, Luktupfah Muay Thai below it and the stretch between them inked. In baht, Bangkok Fight Lab first, then Luktupfah Muay Thai: one group session at 600 and 500, 100 apart inside a run of 550 that 31 of 44 listed camps print; one private at 1,300 and 1,500, 200 apart inside a run of 900 that 22 of 44 listed camps print. Rates only one of the two publishes are left out, because a line carrying one mark says nothing about two camps.

They quote the same figure on one line: takes beginners.

What we cannot tell you yet

Neither camp has been confirmed on the lines below, so this page does not compare them. They are named rather than left off, because a comparison that only shows the fields it happens to hold is the shape of a page pretending to be complete.

In their own words

What each camp is

Bangkok Fight Lab

A city gym two minutes from On Nut BTS that leads with Brazilian jiu-jitsu and runs Muay Thai alongside it, rather than the other way round. That makes it a poor substitute for a traditional Thai camp and a good fit for anyone living in Bangkok who wants more than one art on the same membership. Its own site says beginners are welcome, and there are kids classes and private sessions.

The full record for Bangkok Fight Lab

Luktupfah Muay Thai

A Bangkok school that teaches Muay Boran and Krabi Krabong alongside Muay Thai and certifies krus, which makes it the one camp on this list where the draw is the older material rather than a fight team. Two group sessions a day out in Prawet, rooms on site, and the traditional courses sold as private or course blocks rather than drop in.

What people ask about Bangkok Fight Lab and Luktupfah Muay Thai

Every figure below is read off the two records at build time rather than written by hand, so a question neither camp has published anything behind is left out instead of answered softly.
Is Bangkok Fight Lab or Luktupfah Muay Thai cheaper?
Luktupfah Muay Thai, on the line most trips are booked on. A single group session is 500 baht there against 600 baht at Bangkok Fight Lab, a gap of 100 baht. They both quote one other priced line, and Bangkok Fight Lab is lower on one. A cheaper month is not a cheaper trip. Food, a room where the camp has none and the flight home all sit outside these figures, and a camp that is 2,000 baht dearer a month is the cheaper of the two the moment it saves you a daily taxi.
What is the difference between Bangkok Fight Lab and Luktupfah Muay Thai?
2 of the 3 lines both camps publish come out different: a single group session and a private session. They match on whether beginners are taken. Bangkok Fight Lab publishes a week of unlimited training and a month of unlimited training, and Luktupfah Muay Thai publishes how many sessions a day run and whether there are rooms on site. What separates two camps on the mats is the trainer you get put with, and no camp publishes that. Use the lines above to cut the list down, then ask both.
Is Bangkok Fight Lab or Luktupfah Muay Thai better for a beginner?
Both. Bangkok Fight Lab and Luktupfah Muay Thai each read as a room somebody who has never trained can walk into. That is a call made at a desk from what each camp publishes about who it trains, not a verdict from the mats. A gym built around a fight team will take a beginner's money and leave them holding pads at the back for a month, so ask both how a first session actually runs before you book either.
Can you stay at Bangkok Fight Lab or Luktupfah Muay Thai?
Luktupfah Muay Thai says you can sleep at the camp. Bangkok Fight Lab publishes nothing either way, so that line stays blank. Neither nightly rate is published, so the room line stays blank rather than get estimated off camps elsewhere that do print one. Staying in means the commute stops being a decision you make twice a day at five in the morning, which matters more than the saving on most trips shorter than a month.
How far apart are Bangkok Fight Lab and Luktupfah Muay Thai?
About 9.7 km in a straight line, measured between the two pins rather than along a road, so a motorbike covers more ground than that and traffic decides the rest. Both camps sit in Bangkok. That is a ride rather than a walk, so trying both in one trip means picking a base and paying to cross, or splitting the stay in two.

Trained at either? Correct us.

Every figure on this page came off a camp’s own website. Bangkok Fight Lab was read on 2026-09-02 and Luktupfah Muay Thai on 2026-10-14. Camps change prices without changing the page the price is printed on. If one of these is wrong, or if you know a line neither camp publishes, tell us and we will date the change.
