Kombat Group

Kombat sells all-inclusive residential packages rather than training on its own, so none of the five lines above has a figure. A week of Muay Thai and boxing with a fan room is 12,900, a fortnight 22,900 and four weeks 39,900, before 7 percent VAT and card fees; the better rooms roughly double it. Its separate training-only site publishes the timetable but no prices.

Sityodtong Pattaya

The month is the two sessions a day package; one session a day is 7,000. A single session is 400 and two on the same day 800. The private is a from price: the camp publishes 800 and up depending on the trainer. There is no week rate and no nightly room rate, because housing is sold inside the four week fight camp at 35,000, which runs two training and two pad sessions a day six days a week and ends with a fight at Max Muay Thai. The timetable is 8 to 10.30 and 3 to 6, Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday.

They quote the same figure on 3 lines: sessions a day, rooms on site and takes beginners.

What we cannot tell you yet

Neither camp has been confirmed on the lines below, so this page does not compare them. They are named rather than left off, because a comparison that only shows the fields it happens to hold is the shape of a page pretending to be complete.

In their own words

What each camp is

Kombat Group

Runs structured multi-week training and weight-loss camps as packaged programmes rather than open drop-in training. Suits people who want the schedule decided for them.

Sityodtong Pattaya

One of the historically significant names in Muay Thai, with a lineage that long predates the training-holiday market. Traditional in approach rather than resort-styled, and priced accordingly: a session here costs half what the resort centre up the road charges.

What people ask about Kombat Group and Sityodtong Pattaya

Every figure below is read off the two records at build time rather than written by hand, so a question neither camp has published anything behind is left out instead of answered softly.
What is the difference between Kombat Group and Sityodtong Pattaya?
On paper, nothing. All 3 lines both camps publish come out the same, which is a real finding and not a gap in the record. Sityodtong Pattaya publishes a single group session, a month of unlimited training and a private session. Kombat Group publishes none of those. What separates two camps on the mats is the trainer you get put with, and no camp publishes that. Use the lines above to cut the list down, then ask both.
Is Kombat Group or Sityodtong Pattaya better for a beginner?
Both. Kombat Group and Sityodtong Pattaya each read as a room somebody who has never trained can walk into. That is a call made at a desk from what each camp publishes about who it trains, not a verdict from the mats. A gym built around a fight team will take a beginner's money and leave them holding pads at the back for a month, so ask both how a first session actually runs before you book either.
Can you stay at Kombat Group or Sityodtong Pattaya?
Both. Kombat Group and Sityodtong Pattaya each say on their own site that you can sleep at the camp. Neither nightly rate is published, so the room line stays blank rather than get estimated off camps elsewhere that do print one. Staying in means the commute stops being a decision you make twice a day at five in the morning, which matters more than the saving on most trips shorter than a month.
How many sessions a day do Kombat Group and Sityodtong Pattaya run?
The same number. Kombat Group and Sityodtong Pattaya both run 2 sessions a day. That is how many are on offer and not how many anybody should plan on taking. A timetable says when the door is open; how many times you walk through it is most of the difference between a training holiday and a camp, and a first week of doubles is how people spend a second week injured.
How far apart are Kombat Group and Sityodtong Pattaya?
About 8.2 km in a straight line, measured between the two pins rather than along a road, so a motorbike covers more ground than that and traffic decides the rest. Both camps sit in Pattaya. That is a ride rather than a walk, so trying both in one trip means picking a base and paying to cross, or splitting the stay in two.
