Chinnarach Muay Thai
The week and month above are the twice a day tiers, which cover the whole published timetable; once a day is 2,000 a week and 8,000 a month. A day pass covering both classes is 600, and ten classes 3,500. The private above is the trainer rate: Master Chin is 2,500 a session or 22,000 for ten, against 800 and 7,000 with a trainer. Rooms behind the gym are priced by the week and the month rather than the night, from 500 a week to sleep in the gym itself, 2,500 for a bamboo hut or a shared aircon room and 3,000 for an ensuite, or 1,500, 8,000 and 10,000 for the same by the month.
Diamond Muay Thai
The week and month are the twelve and forty-eight session passes; six a week is 2,000 and twenty-four a month 7,000. All access, which adds the other classes, is 5,000 and 18,000. A first taster session is 300. Rooms are sold as train and stay by the week or month rather than the night, from 7,000 a week for a bamboo bungalow including two sessions a day, two meals and yoga.
Against the country
They quote the same figure on 6 lines: one group session, a week unlimited, a month unlimited, sessions a day, rooms on site and takes beginners.

What we cannot tell you yet
Neither camp has been confirmed on the lines below, so this page does not compare them. They are named rather than left off, because a comparison that only shows the fields it happens to hold is the shape of a page pretending to be complete.

In their own words
What each camp is
Chinnarach Muay Thai
Two two-hour group sessions a day, priced in two columns so one a day costs less than two. Accommodation is on the gym's own plot and sold by the week or the month rather than the night, starting with the option of sleeping in the gym itself, which is as cheap as training in Thailand gets. A private with the head coach costs roughly three times a session with a trainer, which tells you how the place is organised before you arrive.

Koh Phangan camp with a strong long-stay and wellness crossover crowd. Relaxed pace and a small group size. Progress depends heavily on who else happens to be on the island that month, which cuts both ways.

What people ask about Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai
- Is Chinnarach Muay Thai or Diamond Muay Thai cheaper?
- Neither. Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai both print a month of unlimited training at 10,000 baht. They both quote 3 other priced lines, and Diamond Muay Thai is lower on one and 2 come out level. A cheaper month is not a cheaper trip. Food, a room where the camp has none and the flight home all sit outside these figures, and a camp that is 2,000 baht dearer a month is the cheaper of the two the moment it saves you a daily taxi.
- What is the difference between Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai?
- One of the 7 lines both camps publish comes out different: a private session. They match on a single group session, a week of unlimited training, a month of unlimited training, how many sessions a day run, whether there are rooms on site and whether beginners are taken. What separates two camps on the mats is the trainer you get put with, and no camp publishes that. Use the lines above to cut the list down, then ask both.
- Is Chinnarach Muay Thai or Diamond Muay Thai better for a beginner?
- Both. Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai each read as a room somebody who has never trained can walk into. That is a call made at a desk from what each camp publishes about who it trains, not a verdict from the mats. A gym built around a fight team will take a beginner's money and leave them holding pads at the back for a month, so ask both how a first session actually runs before you book either.
- Can you stay at Chinnarach Muay Thai or Diamond Muay Thai?
- Both. Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai each say on their own site that you can sleep at the camp. Neither nightly rate is published, so the room line stays blank rather than get estimated off camps elsewhere that do print one. Staying in means the commute stops being a decision you make twice a day at five in the morning, which matters more than the saving on most trips shorter than a month.
- How many sessions a day do Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai run?
- The same number. Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai both run 2 sessions a day. That is how many are on offer and not how many anybody should plan on taking. A timetable says when the door is open; how many times you walk through it is most of the difference between a training holiday and a camp, and a first week of doubles is how people spend a second week injured.
- How far apart are Chinnarach Muay Thai and Diamond Muay Thai?
- About 600 m in a straight line, measured between the two pins rather than along a road, so a motorbike covers more ground than that and traffic decides the rest. Both camps sit in Koh Phangan. That is close enough to walk, so a trial session at each one inside a single week costs you nothing but the drop-in rate.
